You were a grumpy old bugger most of the time Wayne, but we had some family fun times especially playing Maj-hon and trivial pursuit. The crap you knew used to piss me off LOL. Once met never forgotten Love your ex SIL

Fond memories of holidays at Uncle Wayne and Aunty Inge's. Like the time he dropped all us kids of on the island near Tauranga and we discovered huhu grubs. Walking to the brew shop from the mount side of the bridge. Visiting the Gold Coast and he pointed out the police wear guns. Thank you for the memories. Love to all the family

I look back on really happy times with the Kahikatea Grove crowd. Many happy parties and bbqs.

Lots of fun and happy memories of the Kahikatea Grove days :) Also remember the morning car trips into town with some of the other neighbours. Love to all the Roylance 'kids' xxx

Wow, the memories that go way back to the 70's in Kahikatea Grove and all the fun we had. Although our family was MUCH!! younger than the other residents, the card nights were legendary. There were several families and the Roylance's were a big part of those memories. So sad that Wayne has now left this earth for another life at way too young, but I'm sure he'll recount all his travel stories to those who have gone before him.
Rest in peace Wayne

Wayne was a member and a regular at Coolum Surf Club since 2009. We would hold a copy of the Sunshine Coast Daily and the Courier Mail behind the bar for Wayne and he would proceed to pour through the papers completing the crossword puzzles, accompanied by the odd schooner of XXXX Gold. Wayne will be sorely missed by his friends and the staff at Coolum Surf Club. We pass on our love and thoughts to his family at this time of grief and hope that his life is celebrated today by his friends and family.
