I met Brett on the first job I had when I moved to Brisbane. When we got layed off he got us on to another company a few days later. I didn’t know anyone in Brisbane so he really helped me out and spoke highly for me. I’ll never forget that. Which we then went on to carpool for about 6mths. I was fairly overweight at the time and Brett was a straight talking but kind person and encouraged me to get fit which I did. He was a good friend to me for that brief time. A genuinely kind hearted person.

It has taken me some time to really comprehend what has happened, and believe that you are gone from this earth!
We hadn't spoken in many months, but in true Brett Blade Style, you always had that cheeky charismatic energy that you couldn't help but be drawn to!
I will always remember how truly madly deeply you loved with all of your heart and soul! I have many photos and memories of our 4 years together, and though we didn't make it to forever, I'd like to think that I left you with as many loving memories as you left me!
I will always cherish the effort you went to to show me your love, from picking roses on your way home from work to give me when you got home, and the anniversary weekend when you took me swimming with the dolphins, and the beautiful jewellery box you made me from scratch (you always were good with your hands). The Family holidays up the Murray where we'd stay in the caravan and go wakeboarding behind Steven's boat, the romantic dinner you cooked for me where I wasn't allowed in the kitchen and you blindfolded me and lead me outside where you had dragged our mattress and we ate and slept under the beautiful summer night sky (only to wake up covered in mossie bites) lol
And I still have our diary that we decorated and wrote in all the time! You filled it with love notes (many of which you would write as you watched me sleep), and the tattoo designs you would draw for both of us!
I remember working at colonial stadium with you and your mumma, and all the laughs we used to have on the way home, and all the sneaky kisses you would steal while we were working!
You really were a romantic with a huge heart and it saddens me to think that your life was cut short, and that you never truly found the person who set your soul on fire and who connected with you the way you truly wanted!
Please say hi to my brother who no doubt will have met up with you up there in the afterlife, and please don't hesitate to visit the loves ones you left behind....It's all we can hope for now!
May you finally be at peace Boogers.... Thank you for showing me a love that had no boundaries ❤️ Frogga x

There once was a prince who found a girl in distress. Locked up in a tower he came and rescued her and brought her into his fairytale

Always catching glimpses of his light she found it hard to look away, mesmerised by his light and love she knew she had found an angel.
When they kissed it was like heaven touched her soul.

The first time they were intimate their nose rings got caught, they were stuck face to face laughing until they tore apart. The following day they went on a piercing date.

Many times they stayed awake till the sun came up talking for hours, listening to deep house. He told her he wanted to be a father one day, go back to building furniture, save for a home, flip houses and marry her.

When the morning sun rose she was always in a rush but he would pull her back to bed pour her a champaign for breakfast and whisper how much he loved her so.

He painted his lamps rose gold to make her feel comfortable in there home, he knew she loved to cook so he bought everything possible for the kitchen, Including a stack of books for her and made many requests. When she cooked his eyes lit up he would always compliment her it melted her heart.

He used to ask her to hide his Nutella jar, and the following day he would beg her to tell him where it was. He loved her dog bardot as much as her, gave her a home filled with love spoilt her at Count Douglars, walked, and cuddled her daily

he helped her go shopping for all the choices overwhelmed her, but he always knew how to make her feel beautiful like a cherished women.

He would ask her to stretch out his sore hips in the mornings, to shower with him at least 4x a day as he loved to feel fresh, he asked her to shave his back, pluck his eyebrows, trimmed his fringe, do face masks together and to choose her nail colour at the salon. He was her lover, her partner, her best friend

He would message her every morning wishing her a happy day and that he loved her, he left many love notes on the mirror. He had a heart of gold

But she had deep regret, for the time it took her to trust again and have her heart rebuilt from the purest form of love that he gave her he was gone. She begs for his forgiveness and for him to know, how much she deeply loves him so. For he always was her happy ever after.

Although I had not seen you in years i still remember our chats like yesterday, i know how much your family meant to you and how much you loved working out, your caring nature, smile, outgoing nature and the way you cared will be missed by many. I want you to know that I will look out for Jayde and although i can never replace you I will as a mate make sure she is coping, ok at all times and has an open ear anytime as i know thats what you would do for me if roles were reversed.
We on earth have lost a great mate, a charmer and a really lovely guy, heaven has gained an angel with a heart of gold and someone I'm proud to have called my friend. RIP. XX

You probably wouldn’t remember me as I was friends with Jayde and Corey in high school but I remember you when I’d be at their house, sometimes you were there sometimes you weren’t! But I just wanted to say that I hope you are at peace now and I’m thinking of Jayde, Corey and your family especially today!!!

May you Rest In Peace!!!

No words can ease the pain today, I can only hope that with each day that passes it hurts a little less.

We remember a young man who carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, who wore his heart on his sleeve and wasn't aftaid to leave his shirt sleeves at home.

We are all human. We are all capable of feeling so extremely deeply that it consumes us. In our darkest hours we often feel we must be our own heroes... We are not all successful.

I'm not sure about any of you, but I tend to live my life through songs. There are my happy songs, sad songs, screw the world songs, sing at the top of my lungs badly songs, uplifting songs and songs that remind me of those I've loved and lost. The following lyrics have helped me in my times of darkness, and I hope they may resonate with at least one person today.

"My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride
If today was your last day
And tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past
Donate every dime you have?
Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the prize is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you'll never live it twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life
Would you call old friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories
Would you forgive your enemies?
Would you find that one you're dreamin' of?
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are
So do whatever it takes
Cause you can't rewind a uhmoment in this life
Let nothin' stand in your way"

Rest in peace Brett xoxo
