To Nanny,
Imagine if I was given one moment,
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last.

I'd put the moment in a safe,
within my heart's abode.
I could open it when I wanted,
and only I would know the code.

I could choose a time of laughing,
a time of happiness and fun.
I could choose a time that tried me
through everything I've done.

I sat and thought about what moment
would always make me smile.
One that would always push me
to walk that extra mile.

If I'm feeling sad and low,
if I'm struggling with what to do,
I can go and open my little safe
and watch my moment through.

There are moments I can think of
that would lift my spirits every time.
The moments when you picked me up,
when the road was hard to climb

Lynnette
You meant so much to all of us
You were special and that's the truth
You brightened up the day with your smile and tender loving care
Your love we will never forget
The fact that you're no longer here, will always cause us pain but you're forever in our hearts until we meet again.
So, rest in peace and thanks for all you have done for us
Your vacant place no one can fill
We miss you now and always will

Love: Mama, Dad, Eng, James, Bee and Yen

Dear Lynette. Such a genuinely warm, caring and considerate person. That welcoming smile you seemed to have for everybody was a testament to your loving nature. Your visits to my dear mother when she lived in Meddings Court, and later in the nursing home, meant so much to her. You will be fondly remembered by all those who knew you; all those whose lives you have graced. My sincere condolences to all your family. May you rest in peace, sweet lady. xxx
