When someone you love dies, it changes your life forever. It is not something you β€œget over”. The loss now becomes a part of who you are.
I find it hard to write the death of my younger brother Neil. My beautiful blue eyed brother with dimples and curly hair. What more could any mother want. You were a true gentleman and generous to fault. Your nieces Molly and Lilly are devastated, as we all are. Shock. To see someone so young die and so suddenly, it brings sadness, sorrow and pain to the family.
We loved our Saturday mornings, as we knew you would becoming around, generally for breakfast. We’d exchange eggs for fruit and vegetables. Then you would stay for a few hours talking to us about your pigeons, your beloved Adelaide Crows, your homegrown vegetables and immaculate roses. Oh and of course we can’t forget your impressive ute. Always in prestigious condition every time l saw it. We would hear you drive in the court before even seeing you. It was that loud and powerful. And we mustn’t forget your love of Ned Kelly.
We’re going to miss you Neil, already do. I just expect you to walk through the front door. Our childhood was wonderful, always going camping and fishing. We had a lot of fantastic times together even as adults.
I believe Mum needs you on the β€œother side” Neil at this particular time. She would be so pleased to see you again after such a long time apart. As to would Nan, Nuck and Dad..
I will forever miss you Neil and will hold you in my thoughts and heart forever, until we meet again on the β€œother side”
Farewell my dear brother.
Forever, your loving sister Lorraine, Shane, and loving Nieces Molly and Lilly.
You will never be forgotten, Neil

I met Neil through Pigeon Racing & we both got along like a house on fire he was a great man who liked to have a laugh & loved his heavy metal music & his Pigeons ,
When Neil won his first Federation Race from Tazzy we went to Charlie Montebello house his best mate who also Races Pigeons & celebrated his Win from Tazzy ,
The next best thing that happened in Niels life was when I introduced Tania To Neil & it was love at first sight they both got along like a house on fire & were inseparable,
