Geoff (Arthur Geoffrey) Barfoot (6 Jul 1931 - 18 Jul 2020)

Geoff was a kind and dear friend. of our 10K rowing group. A well respected and true gentleman and we will miss him dearly.

Sincere condolences to Mrs Barfoot, Wendy, Shirlene and their families on the sad passing of Mr Barfoot. A true gentleman, lover of life and the outdoors. He will always be fondly remembered by Lynn and the Tascas family.

After 56 years of mateship we can no longer share a beer and lunch on the last Friday of the month. Mick & Gail Spong.

My buddy and workmate at J C Taylor’s for 35 years. Since we retired our bond grew stronger as we became even better friends. My thoughts are with Margaret and the family. Geoff will be sadly missed.

Will be remembered For his rowing at Corio Bay he’s relaxed helpful ways. Many crews in many boats over the years. He was the link that connected us to them to us.

My closest friend of 60 years, sadly, so sadly missed.

I will miss this gentle , reliable , thoroughly likeable man for his gentle spirit, his unwavering sense of commitment, his sense of humour and so many other qualities. But mostly I will miss him as a friend as will so many others. My sympathy and compassion to Margaret and all of his family.
