Ailsa will always be Mrs Seargeant to me - I was 8 years old when we moved to Wangaratta to a house just around the corner from Jude and her family. Even as I grew older and moved away, Mrs Seargeant always welcomed me into her home - and she always offered amazing hospitality. She was a lovely lady and yes her family meant the world to her - she will definitely be missed.
What a lovely tribute to her today - much love and hugs to Jude & David and all of their extended families. 💕xx

Ailsa will always be Mrs Seargeant to me given I was five years old when we first met.

Her gracious presence and warmth, sage advice and perpetual generosity will be forever remembered and admired.

We are all better people for having known this profoundly special lady and blessed that her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There are people you meet along life’s journey who have a profound impact on shaping the way you conduct yourself in society. Ailsa always had time for people. Her gentle and caring disposition coupled with her welcoming smile always made you feel at ease in her gracious company. You may be gone but your endearing traits will live in all of us who had the privilege to call you a close friend .

A beautiful neighbour of ours for many years. We shared many family get togethers, full of laughter and engaging conversation.
Your were generous, compassionate and most of all, only too happy to help anyone who required assistance. The Wangaratta community will be forever enriched by your civic contributions.
Rest In Peace .
