In loving memory of James 'Jim' Hancock who sadly passed away on 1st May 2022.
Jim passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, at St Catherine’s Hostel, Wangaratta. Aged 89.
Loving husband of Helen (dec).
Dearly loved father of Jane, Julie and Carolyn.
Much loved father-in-law to Gerard.
Grandfather of Madi, Anders, Mats, Shadia, Holly and Charli.
Grandfather in-law of Adam.
Step Grandfather of Caitlin, Hannah and Eliza.

A funeral service to honour the life of Jim will be held at the Wangaratta Uniting Church, 10 Rowan Street, Wangaratta on Friday the 6th of May, commencing at 11am.

I am so sorry to learn of the death of your father. I remember him as a lovely man. I came across this funeral notice purely by accident as Julie Wright had asked me if I still had a contact number for any of you so I did some Google searching. Julie's mother Molly Childs passed away earlier this month in her late 90s. Molly's funeral is on Friday evening AEST and will be webcast live. With the Hancocks, the Salvados and the Hattams - along with so many other families in Australia - having such close ties with the Childs in Hove, all of this seems rather close to home.
