A beautiful service befitting a lovely lady, a devoted wife & a wonderful "Miss" who was so involved in the School play for the Prize Distribution day together with her beloved husband "Bob" who was the dynamic leader of the Senior school plays. My deepest condolences to the family. May God in all his Mercy give you the courage to bear this great loss. May her good soul Rest In (eternal) Peace.

Condolences and love to the Francis family - Bob and Mavis were dear to me while I was at Bisops …left in 1961….and Bob was a huge supporter when I decided to be an Actor in London…..such terrific memories!

Dear Uncle Bob, Andy, Lindy & family, We were truly saddened to hear about Aunty Mave's passing. She was such a loving, kind and gentle lady who always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by her devoted husband, Uncle B.,her children and all who knew and loved her so much. I'm so grateful that Mum and I were able to spend time with her during our 2014 trip. Long after our time together at Bishops, I will never forget the kindness and generosity shown to us by the Francis family when we first came to Australia. Aunty Mave and Uncle Bob visited often, always armed with goodies to help us build our new life here.

Aunty Mave, my loving Aunty, my mum’s best friend, God’s devoted child, we have the blessed assurance that we shall all meet again on that beautiful shore.

We were saddened to read of Mavis' passing. We remember Mavis cheery smike and caring nature whilst neighbours in Lansell Dve. We would attend her funeral but are on holiday in Qld.
