In loving memory of Veronica Joy Hodge who sadly passed away on 18th September 2016

HODGE Veronica Joy, “Von”/“Ma”

Originally from Nyngan but better known from Aspley and Carseldine and the Ampol Service stations at Capalaba and Carindale.
Veronica, Von or Ma, as she was better known, will be sadly missed by her adoring husband and soul mate of 50 plus years, Ray, as well as her darling children Toni, Tanya, Graham and their partners.

To her doting grandchildren Danielle, Gabrielle, Wade, Kurt, Liam and Jackson. Ma will be sadly missed because of the loving relationship that existed between each and every one of them. That relationship that can only exist between grandchildren and a grandparent.
Veronica’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the Atrium of the Parkview Nursing Complex 930 Gympie Road Chermside.
The service will be held on Monday 26th September 2016 and will commence at 10:30AM.

Dear Ray,
We would like to offer our condolences to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your wife and soulmate, Veronica. You both always welcomed me into your home with love and warmth and treated me like another son, something I will never forget. It saddens me this day has arrived and my life will be forever a little emptier with Veronica's passing.
All our love,
Keith, Katrina, Hollie & Fletcher.

My deepest sympathies to Uncle Ray, Toni, Tanya, Graham and families. I will always be reminded of Aunty Von by Buddhas, watches and the best tuna bread cases I have ever tasted. I will remember many fun filled evenings swimming and playing pool, she was a great hostess and a lot of fun. Each passing of our loved ones, leaves an empty space in our lives, but they certainly brighten our evening skies. She joins a group of wonderful human beings, who are looking over us, until we meet again.
