What can I say Alan was such a great man, true gentle giant in my heart, glad I have the memories of when we came and stayed there was never a dull moment loved listening to all his story's he would tell us while himself and Kev were drinking plenty of grog and getting me into betting on the trots. He would also start his 'Uch aye the noo' accent which made us all laugh. R.I.P Alan you will be sorely missed xxxxxxx ???

  • We only knew you for a short time Alan, but felt part of the family the first day we met at your home. So sad you have gone.

  • A big man in every sense....his humour as dry as sticks...delivered with the poker face that made you wonder if he was joking.....if smiles are the currency that opens the golden gates he will be fine.....he will be having a smile now.....bye big Al.. J.
