Viola Ruth Harms (11 Mar 1924 - 21 Dec 2016)

My parents Preston and Kath Walker knew Vi in Geelong and Bendigo in 1970s. Dad was in the Bible Society and Vi and Theo were involved in that too. Later when I moved to Sydney I visited Vi and Theo at The Rock NSW where Theo was Lutheran minister. Vi was always like a mother to me. She had a very cheery disposition and strong Christian faith which I appreciated. My mother Kath Walker was always a good friend of Vi for all the years they knew each other and often kept in touch via mail and in prayers which is how I came to hear about her recent passing via her regular letters to my mother she was such a faithful friend in the Lord. Vi will be sadly missed but we know she is with the Lord which is far better. We send our condolences to her extended family.
