MADDOCK Stephen Bernard “Steve” “Mad Dad”
Originally from Ferntree Gully, Victoria. However, better known from the Redlands, Brisbane and recently from Townsville.
Steve passed away unexpectedly in the Townsville Hospital on Sunday 5th February 2017 at the young age of just 44 years.

Steve will be sadly missed by his mother Catherine and his brother Martin and his family. Steve also left behind partner Anita and children Stephen, Brendan, Joel, Meleighta, Nicholas, Thomas, Azekial, Ivy and their partners.
Steve or Pops as he was better known will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Hunter, Phoenix and Elleigha and little Coco soon to arrive.

‘When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.

For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you’ve cheated the man in the glass.

Steve’s relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life service that will be held in the chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 294 Graham Road, Bridgeman Downs. After the service those attending are invited to follow the hearse to Steve’s final resting place in the Pinnaroo cemetery.
Steve’s service will be held on Thursday, 16th February 2017 commencing at 10:00 Am

Stevie was your name when we were young. Cousins, family, Christmas, birthdays, grandad, grandmar, kept us close.
Then we all grew up and went our separate ways. I didn't know you as an adult but you were still my cousin. Facebook bought us back in touch and we loved being back in touch . You lived life hard and fast and have left us way too young. R.I.P Stevie

dad i am going to miss you so much. i remember when you took me motorbike riding, drifting, 4 wheel driving and we got bogged. they are the things that i am never going to forget. you would make everything fun as possible even when there really wasn't a way you would just make it fun. your bed time stories were the best because they were one of a kind they would be about the stuff we love and then there would be police on supercharged camels it was crazy how you would come up with the stories you did. we used to sit down at 5.30 every day because your stories were on millionaire hot seat and you would basically get every question right. when we would get back from school everyday you would be sitting there watching your other stories the chase. you had your ups and downs but that's what made you. you were the best dad ever no one could of ever replaced you i love you so much. hope your having one of the vb tallies that you absolutely loved i'm going to miss you so much r.i.p mad dad
