So sorry that I missed the opportunity to pay my respects to a truly inspirational teacher, lecturer and tutor of French at Melbourne University in the late 60's. I loved the Saturday mornings when she would announce...les demoiselles italiennes arrivent ..allors vous avez danse' hier soir? I'm sure that she enjoyed our youthful transgressions and she surely was a most engaging, passionate and memorable teacher....and I still love French! Vale Mademoiselle Giroux....Rest in Peace.
