Kristen Lewis (26 Dec 1973 - 27 Feb 2016)
In loving memory of Kristen Lewis who sadly passed away on 27th February 2016
Originally of Brisbane and Townsville, late of Wattle Camp and much of the Australian Outback.
Kristen passed on after a motoring accident on Saturday 27th February 2016, too soon, at the age of 42 years.
Kristen leaves behind and will be sadly missed by his loving parents Carol and Gus as well as his devoted brothers Nathan and Benton, his daughter Kristen and grandson Hudson. For his unique charm, humour, and boundless generosity he will also be missed by his nieces Ashleigh and Chandlah, and a host of friends he considered his chosen family.

Kris told me about this time when a part on the drill busted and he fixed it up somehow. Here he is praying that it made it through to get the core sample.

Such a nice fellow. Enjoyed his job greatly, and was very good and thorough at it. The Qld mining industry will miss this man.
